Glydians takes your privacy seriously. This notice tells you what data we gather, why we gather it, and how you can control it.
1. Information We Gather
We collect data in three ways: what you tell us, what we see automatically, and what we get from others.
What you tell us:
- Your name and email address
- Where you live and where you want your order sent
- Your phone number (only if you choose to share it)
- Your payment information (we never see your full card number — that goes straight to our payment processor)
- Your account password (stored in encrypted form)
- Any message you send to [email protected]
What we see automatically:
- The numerical label assigned to your device (IP address)
- What kind of browser and device you are using
- Which pages you visit and how long you stay
- What you click on
- Small data files called cookies (more in section 6)
What we get from others:
- Fraud checks from payment security companies
- Delivery updates from shipping carriers
- Email delivery information from our email provider
2. How We Use Your Data
Here is every reason we use your information:
- To pack and ship what you ordered
- To tell you when your order is on its way
- To answer your questions when you email us
- To make our website work better and faster
- To stop fraud before it happens
- To follow United States tax and business laws
- To send you sale announcements — but only if you say yes first
We never use automated systems to make important decisions about you without a real person checking the work.
3. Who We Share With
We never sell your personal information. Not to anyone. Not for any price.
We do share with a few companies that help us run our business:
| Who They Are | What They Do |
|---|---|
| Shipping companies (USPS, UPS, FedEx) | Get your package to your door |
| Payment processors (Stripe, Credit Card) | Handle the money safely |
| Email platforms | Send your order updates |
| Analytics tools (Google) | Show us how people use our site |
| Lawyers or police | When a judge says we have to |
Every company we share with signs a contract promising to protect your data and use it only for the job we hired them to do.
4. How Long We Keep Things
We do not hold onto your data forever. Here is our schedule:
| Type of Data | How Long We Keep It |
|---|---|
| Order records | 7 years (tax laws say so) |
| Your account | Until you delete it or ask us to |
| Marketing permission | Until you unsubscribe |
| Customer service emails | 2 years from your last message |
When time is up, we wipe your data or make it impossible to connect back to you.
5. Your Rights
United States law gives you certain rights over your data.
You can ask us to:
- Show you what data we have about you
- Fix anything that is wrong
- Delete your data (unless we need to keep it for legal reasons)
- Stop sending you marketing emails
To make a request: Email [email protected] and put “Privacy Request” in the subject line. Tell us what you want. We will reply within 30 days.
We may ask you to prove who you are before we do anything.
6. Cookies
Cookies are tiny files that live in your browser. They help our site remember things.
We use these types:
| Cookie Type | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Essential | Keeps your cart working and lets you check out |
| Performance | Tells us which pages people use most |
| Functional | Remembers your preferences (like currency) |
| Targeting | Shows you ads on other sites — only if you agree |
You can turn cookies off in your browser settings. But if you block essential cookies, you will not be able to buy anything.
7. Kids Under 13
Our site is for grownups 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect anything from children under 13. If you think a child has given us data, email [email protected] and we will delete it right away.
8. Security
We protect your data with:
- SSL encryption (the padlock in your browser bar)
- Limited access (only employees who need it)
- Regular security checks
No system is 100% safe. If someone breaks into our servers, we will tell you as fast as we can.
9. Links to Other Sites
Our site sometimes links to other websites — size charts, style guides, that kind of thing. This policy stops applying the moment you leave our site. Read their privacy policies, not ours.
10. Do Not Track
Some browsers have a “Do Not Track” button. There is no standard rule for how websites should respond to that button. So we do not change our behavior when we see it. But we also do not track you across other websites for ads unless you say okay.
11. Moving Data Across Borders
Our company is in the United States. Our servers are in the United States. If you are somewhere else, your data will travel to the US. US privacy laws may not be as strong as where you live. By using our site, you agree to this trip.
12. Changes to This Policy
We can change this policy whenever we want. New version goes up, new date goes at the top. If we make a big change — like starting to sell your data — we will email you (if we have your address) and put a notice on our homepage.
Check back once in a while.
13. Contact Us
Questions? Complaints? Want to see your data?
We write back within one business day.
